2026 Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet EV are two popular entry-level electric cars in the Indian market, which are perfect for city commuting. Tiago EV has recently been launched with facelift and has made the entry price attractive with new design, better features and safety. Design and interior
The Tiago EV now looks more modern and premium with sharp LED headlamps, connected taillights and revised bumpers. This is a 5-seater family hatchback. The Comet EV is a very compact (less than 3 metres), 4-seater car with retro-modern looks, which is easy to park in the city but has less road presence than the Tiago.
Tiago EV gets dual-tone cabin, 10.25-inch touchscreen and better space. 5 people can sit comfortably. The dual 10.25-inch screen setup in Comet EV gives a premium feel, but space is limited. Only two people can sit comfortably at the back. Tiago is more practical.
