The M120 family of Mercedes's V12 engines has a long-running history, which began in 1991 with the W140 S-class. The German automaker considered entering the 12-cylinder race in the 1960s, eventually cooled its early efforts in favor of the V8s, which were considered adequately prosperous. It was not until the late 1980s, when it learned the upcoming second-Je 7-series of BMW with 5.0-liter V12, that it decided to build it. The Mercedes-Mebac V12 version is billed as the last version of S-Class, a tribute to the 1930s prestigious Meback Zepelin. Depending on the MABAC S680, it is limited to just 50 units worldwide and comes in and out with 24 carat gold accents. It has a luxurious two-tone outer paint scheme of Manufkatur Olive Metallic on the upper body, which is the Obesidian Black Metallic at the lower, with a contrasting high-tech silver metallic pinsstrip, which separates two colors. Mercedes claims that it takes about 10 working days to complete this particular paint job, or about twice until your average Maback S-Class.
The S-Class V12 version rides on 5-hal lattice wheels painted in the matching of the metal of the olive, while the C-Pillar has a 24-carat gold medal with a “12” figure in the double-M symbol, which pays homage to the historic Mebach Zepelin DS8 Hood Ornament. The front-end is thrown out in a large scale in the chrome, giving it a bold appearance.

The cabin of the V12 version is a matching diamond-cilated headliner Manufaktur is upholstery in exclusive Sandal Brown Nappa Leather. It is paired with a high-gloss brown boar walnut wooden interior trim that extends to the handicraft steering wheel. The Center Console exposed the specificity of the salon with the '1 of the50' badge, while the rear section is treated with a handcraft gold tight, which takes up to seven days to finish.
If all this was not sufficiently enough, Mercedes is additionally throwing in a series of Bespok accessories, such as Rabe and Burke Silver-Plated Champagne flute with version-specific engraving, as well as a version-specific key ring, along with others.
The Tech Suite S680 has a premium in the form of the rest, with an Mbx interface with five displays including OLED. The residents are treated for active road noise compensation for a single cool cabin experience along with electrically operated rest rear doors.
