New Delhi. The teaser of the new 2026 Renault Duster has been released before its official launch, which will take place on January 26, 2025. The teaser shows connected LED taillamps, with Renault's new logo in the middle, as well as front LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The video pays an emotional tribute to the SUV, showing kids playing with the toy Duster. In this, scenes of the old model walking amidst mountains, forests and water are also shown. The video ends with a celebration of the “Gangs of Duster” community, combining memories and adventure to pave the way for Duster’s return in 2026.
brand new design
Based on CMF-B architecture, the new Renault Duster will see a completely new design, in which some changes have been made according to the market. Its front will be bolder than before, with a new grille, Y-shaped LED headlamps and DRLs, new fog lamp assembly and sporty bumper with large air dams. Other design highlights include Y-shaped LED taillamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, heavy side cladding, raised wheel arches and roof rails.
Premium Features
The cabin layout and features of the new 2026 Renault Duster coming to India will be similar to the global model. This SUV will be much more premium and feature-loaded than the previous generation. It is expected to get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch color driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, Arkamys Classic 6-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS and more.
Engine Options
The new Renault Duster 2026 can come in India with two petrol engine options – 1.3L Turbo and 1.2L Mild Hybrid. Later, a strong hybrid variant may also join the lineup. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available for transmission, while the 4X4 drivetrain system will be available only in the top variants. After its launch in India, the new Renault Duster will compete with Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris and Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrider, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. Many of these cars are already quite popular in India.
