New Delhi. Hyundai Motor India's newly launched second-generation Venue has got off to a great start, garnering over 32,000 bookings in just a month of its debut on November 4, 2025. Launched at a starting price of Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom), this compact SUV is emerging as a strong volume driver for the brand. Built on Hyundai's global K1 enhanced platform, this new model has more height and width, and also gets a longer wheelbase of 2,520 mm, which has improved the cabin space and its presence on the road looks more powerful. It is the first model to be rolled out from the company's new Pune manufacturing plant and is one of the 26 new products Hyundai plans to introduce in India by 2030.

New design and color options
The second-gen Venue sports Hyundai's latest design identity, which includes a dark chrome radiator grille, quad-beam LED headlamps, twin-horn LED DRLs and horizon-style LED tail lamps. Its tall stance, new C-pillar garnish, bridge-type roof rails and in-glass VENUE emblem further add to its premium appeal. This SUV is available in six monotone and two dual-tone color choices, which include new shades like Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire and Dragon Red. The dual-tone options include Hazel Blue or Atlas White paired with an Abyss Black roof.

The sporty Venue N Line gets 32 exclusive design enhancements, such as N Line-specific bumpers with red accents, R17 diamond-cut alloys, twin-tip exhaust, red brake callipers and body-coloured cladding, highlighting its athletic character.

On the interior, the Venue's cabin has been completely redesigned, featuring dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays powered by NVIDIA, which integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Premium touches include terrazzo-textured crash pad, dual-tone leatherette seats, electric 4-way driver seat, 2-step reclining rear seats, ambient lighting and coffee-table-style center console. Apart from this, this car includes rear window sunshades, rear AC vents and Bose 8-speaker audio system. New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its first electric SUV in India, the e Vitara today. Its production has started at the company's Gujarat plant and the initial units are also being exported to international markets. Its design is inspired by its ICE variant and it has been provided with electric powertrain, which will be available in both FWD and AWD configurations, to meet the different needs of the customers. This launch is a big milestone for Maruti Suzuki, as the company is entering the electric SUV segment for the first time.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will come with two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The smaller battery pack will power a single-motor setup that will drive the front wheels, while the larger battery pack will support a dual-motor configuration that will provide all-wheel drive, which Suzuki has named AllGrip-E. Due to this flexibility, customers can choose efficiency or performance as per their need, with the larger battery variant being considered the premium option in the lineup.

Range
As per the WLTP test cycle, the e-Vitrara with 61 kWh battery and front-wheel drive offers the longest range, which is 428 km, followed by the all-wheel drive variant at 394 km. The base 49 kWh model gives a range of 344 km. The front-wheel drive e-Vitra is expected to be launched in India first with a larger battery pack, giving a range of over 500 km as per ARAI rating, while the dual-motor variant will arrive later.

Design
Design highlights of the e-Vitara include three-point matrix LED DRLs integrated with the headlights, massive bumpers with piano-black finish, and 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels with a blacked out look. Its 3D profile and three-point matrix tail lamps complete its styling, which is very similar to the ICE Vitara, but with modern EV touches.

In the interior, E Vitara has ventilated front seats, 10-way power driver seat and flexible rear seating. Safety and convenience features include seven airbags, level-2 ADAS with autonomous functions, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, keyless entry, ride-by-wire technology and ambient lighting for a premium cabin experience.

Kia has started the official countdown for one of its most important global launches, the new second-generation Kia Seltos. The company has shared the first teaser image on its social media channels, which shows a glimpse of the updated design of the SUV. Its world premiere is going to happen on 10th December. These teasers make it clear that what was revealed in the recent spy shots is correct: the 2026 Seltos will be bigger, sharper and more premium than before.

The teaser images reveal several key styling elements, such as redesigned LED headlights with Kia's new signature lights, a more sculpted bonnet and a cleaner, more upright body profile. The tail-lamp cluster has a new geometric layout and connected light bar, while the bumpers look more muscular than before. The entire vehicle has not been revealed in the teaser, but it is clear that its design is more mature and global than the current generation. Large dimensions and spacious cabin
According to the internal SP3i codename and development leaks, the next-gen Seltos may increase in length and width. The current Seltos measures 4,365 mm in length and 1,800 mm in width, and the new model may exceed these figures, resulting in better legroom and shoulder space. Big changes are expected inside the cabin also. New dashboard layout, new upholstery and more features can be found in 2026 Seltos. The biggest change could be the curved twin-screen setup — as seen in new Kia and Hyundai models — with two 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and digital cluster.

New transmission and hybrid option expected
Engine options for India remain the same – 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. However, a new 7-speed automatic transmission is expected for the diesel, which will replace the old 6AT. Globally, the 2026 Seltos will also come with a hybrid powertrain with an electric motor along with a 1.6-litre petrol engine, which will produce around 141 hp and 265 Nm of power. Whether this hybrid option will come to India or not remains to be seen, but Kia is keeping an eye on this fast-growing segment.

Possibility of safety upgrades
Kia can also improve the ADAS features in the new Seltos. The current model has Level 2 ADAS features, and the facelift may bring better sensors, updated software and more features. Given the increasing focus on safety in the segment — especially with rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Grand Vitara, Hyrider, Elevate, Taigun, Kushaq and the upcoming Tata Sierra — Kia could further strengthen its safety offering.

India launch timeline

New Delhi. If you have seen Don then you will definitely remember that convertible car that talks to the air. Which Amitabh drove in a smuggling scene. Famous actress Zeenat Aman was also with him in this scene. This car was the 1973 model of Ford's Mustang. It was not just a car but a walking symbol of the style, speed and attitude of that era. Whenever the camera came close to it, the wheezing of its exhaust and the screeching of the tires became a character of its own.

The 351 cubic inch i.e. 5.8 liter Cleveland V8 engine installed in this car produced 285 to 330 horsepower with a 4 barrel carburetor and that is why it was considered the fastest American muscle car of that era.

In the film, Amitabh Bachchan drove a Mustang with a 4-speed manual top loader gearbox, the shifting sound of which was clearly heard in the chase scenes and gave complete control to the driver.

This Mustang could accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 6.5 to 7 seconds, which was supercar-like performance for 1973.

New Delhi. The new Honda Amaze 3rd generation has been crash-tested under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP) and the results have shown significant improvement in safety performance. This compact sedan, tested in October 2025, has performed well in both Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP) categories. According to the official test report, the Amaze 3rd generation has scored 28.33 out of 32 in adult occupant protection and 40.81 out of 49 in child occupant protection. The 3rd generation Amaze has performed well in both the key crash assessments:

• Frontal offset deformable barrier test: 14.33 out of 16

• Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test: 14.00 out of 16

Safety Features

It has been reported that this sedan has been provided with standard frontal airbags, belt pretensioners and load limiters for both the driver and front passenger. Side head curtain airbags are also standard, significantly increasing side-impact protection. Safety assist features like ESC (Electronic Stability Control), seat belt reminders and pedestrian protection are standard across all variants.

Bharat NCAP crash test results so far

With the latest Bharat NCAP results, the newly tested Honda Amaze 3rd generation has entered at the 22nd position in terms of adult occupant protection. The compact sedan has scored 28.33 out of 32 for adult safety and 40.81 out of 49 for child safety, making it a strong performer among crash-tested cars in India. The top positions are still held by models like Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra XEV 9e and Mahindra BE 6, which have scored a perfect score of 32/32. At the same time, Amaze has left behind many popular mass-market models like Citroen Aircross, Maruti Baleno and Citroen Basalt. Its entry in the list further strengthens Honda's increasing focus on safety in the compact sedan segment.
