Among all Tata cars, Nexon gets the biggest price cut, which is up to Rs 1.55 lakh, as it comes in 18% GST bracket. This heavy price deduction makes Nexon a great value for money option and is a great option for Maruti Brezza. Currently, the on-road price in Mumbai is between Rs 9.28 lakh to Rs 18.59 lakh, the price cut will make a big difference.

Mahindra's XUV 3xo gets a heavy price cut of up to Rs 1.56 lakh, which is the highest for any Mahindra SUV. Applied on 6 September, XUV 3xo is a very huge and comfortable SUV with a lot of features. This Mahindra SUV is a good option for Maruti Brezza as it has more features, technology and performance. The on-road price in Mumbai is between Rs 9.35 lakh to Rs 18.74 lakh.

This price deduction will be effective from September 22. Hyundai 2 petrol engine option offers: 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine (118bhp & 172Nm) and 1.2-liter NA petrol engine (82bhp & 114Nm). This includes electric sunroof, powered driver seat, Adas suit, 8-inch touchscreen and more. The current price of Venue is between Rs 7.95 lakh to Rs 14.90 lakh in Mumbai.

Skoda's cheapest SUV, Kyalak, is already a good option. However, Skoda will implement the GST reform, and Kyalak will get a price cut of about Rs 1.19 lakh. The price of this SUV is between Rs 9.73 lakh to Rs 16.69 lakh in Mumbai. Kalak has been the best -selling model of Skoda for the last few months, and with the price cut, it can attract more buyers.

Kia has not yet confirmed the implementation of GST reform. However, we hope that Sonnet will get a price deduction of up to Rs 1.34 lakh. Hyundai Motor India today announced that it will give its customers the recent benefit of cutting the Goods and Service Tax (GST) rate on Passenger Vehicle (PVS), which will reduce prices by Rs 2.4 lakh. The new prices will be effective from September 22, the day the new GST rates will be applicable.

Prices will decrease
Price reduction will be on the internal combustion engine (ICE) models, which are now based in 18% GST slab and 40% GST slab. Previously, the total tax on such models was between 29% to 50% (28% GST + 1% to 22% compensation cess). Among all Hyundai cars, the lowest price deduction will be Rs 60,640 at the orna. The biggest price reduction in Taxon will be up to Rs 2,40,303.

New GST system from 22 September
Petrol/CNG vehicles up to 1200 cc and diesel vehicles up to 1500 cc (length up to 4 meters) will now be attached to 18 per cent GST while GST will be 40 per cent on engine above 1200 cc and GST on 4 meters long vehicles. This new GST rates will be applicable from 22 September (on the first day of Navratri).

Combat with harriar
Vinfast has finally launched the flagship VF7 in the country. At present, its price has been kept between Rs 22.03 lakh to Rs 26.77 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The model will be introduced in 5 trims – Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity. The brand has already started booking.

6 color options

The model is available in 6 color options, including Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Zenith Gray and Urban Mist. Winfast VF7 initial buyers will get free charging by July 2028. Winfast VF7 will compete with Tata Harrier Ev, Mahindra XEV 9E. This electric SUV is a 5-seater model with a stylish crossover design.

Front look
At the front, Winfast V-Shape's lighting elements are. The model has several features including LED headlights, 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment, hud, wireless phone charger, ventilated seats, reclinable rear seats. Strong range

The dual motor will be AWD and will give a joint output of 345bhp and 500Nm torque. The WLTP claimed range of FWD version is 450km. The AWD version's WLTP claim is 431km.

New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki is moving towards green mobility solutions by 2026 with its new hybrid and electric vehicle range. The car manufacturer is ready to introduce its first electric offer – E Vitara – by the end of this financial year. In the hybrid segment, the Indo-Japanese automaker will introduce four new models-Victoris with strong hybrid powertrain, Toyota, and Maruti Suzuki's In-House Development with strong hybrid systems Fronks, Next-Jen Baleno and a sub-4 meter MPV.

Victoris – India's most fuel efficient car
Starting from Maruti Victoris, the midsize SUV will launch with three engine options – 103bhp, 1.5L mild hybrid petrol, 116bhp, 1.5L Strong Hybrid and 89bhp, 1.5L Petrol + CNG. Despite sharing his powertrain with Grand Vitara, it will be more fuel efficient than its cybbing. Maruti Suzuki claims that Victoris' Strong Hybrid variant will give a mileage of 28.65kmpl, making it India's most fuel efficient car.

Maruti's new strong hybrid system

Maruti Suzuki is developing an in-house series Hybrid Povertrain (Kodename-HEV), which will make its debut in 2026 on the Fronx Compact Crossover. Unlike Toyota's Atkinson Hybrid system, Maruti's own hybrid technology will be very economical, while mileage will give more than 35kmpl. It will be a series hybrid system with a petrol engine, an electric motor and a battery. The car manufacturer will elect its 1.2L Z-series petrol engine for its Future Mass-Market Hybrid cars.

Baleno Hybrid, Mini MPV
The same hybrid powertrain will be introduced in the new-generation Maruti Baleno hatchback and Japan-Space Spaceia based MPV, later by Next-Jen Swift (2027) and All-New Brezza (2029). The Maruti Fronx hybrid is likely to have 'hybrid' badges on the exterior and some hybrid-specific software inside, while its original design and interior will remain intact.

What does this mean for buyers?
Delay in launch means that Kia's hybrid option will have to wait at least one year. Meanwhile, buyers can move to models such as Maruti Grand Vitara Hybrid, Toyota Hyperdery Hybrid and upcoming Hyundai Creta Hybrid. Delay also means that Kia will come with a more advanced hybrid system.

Engine option

Kia will electrifies its 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine for hybrid cellos. The same will also be used for Povertrain Creta Hybrid. While the new hybrid engine will be reserved for high trims, existing 1.5L Natural Aspirated Petrol, 1.5L Turbo Petrol and 1.5L Turbo Diesel Engine are expected to continue in lower and mid -level variants.

New design language
Spy image suggests that the new Kia Seltose brand will adopt the new 'Opposite United' design language, which is like Syros. At the front, the SUV is likely to have a newly designed grill, vertically-posured DRL and new fog lamp cluster. Other highlights may include an LED light strip connecting new alloy wheels and taillamps.

New Delhi. To give the benefit of recent cuts in GST rate to its buyers, Mahindra & Mahindra on Saturday announced a price reduction in the price of Rs 1.56 lakh on sports utility vehicles (SUVs) like Scorpio, XUV700, Thar and Bolero. This price deduction will be effective from September 6, which came after the government reduced the effective GST rates on vehicles earlier this week.

The GST Council approved the tax deduction earlier this week. However the new GST rates will be effective from September 22, 2025, which is the first day of Navratri; Mahindra has announced an immediate price cut from 22 September today. After the GST rate cut, Mahindra's SUV line-up has become more cheaper, which will save buyers from Rs 1.01 lakh to Rs 1.56 lakh according to the model. Mahindra & Mahindra only make cars in the SUV segment.

New Delhi. Prior to the festive season, Yamaha Motor India has introduced its updated R15 lineup with new color options, including R15M, R15 V4 and R15. The price of 2025 Yamaha R15 range starts at Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The R15M comes in the new metallic gray color, while the R15 V4 is available in the metallic black, updated racing blue and matte pearl white paint scheme. The updated R15S is being introduced in matte black color, which has contrast red wheels.

No mechanical change
No mechanical changes have been made in the bike. The 2025 Yamaha R15 continues to use 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which comes with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine generates a maximum power of 18.4bhp and torque of 14.2Nm. The updated R15 lineup includes features such as assist and slipper clutch, traction control, upset-down front forks and quick shifters (only in selected variants).

New Delhi. The Vietnamese EV manufacturer, Winfast has finally entered the Indian market and has launched VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. Both models have been brought through the CKD (Completely knocked down) route and will be assembled in the brand factory in Tamil Nadu. Bookings of VF6 and VF7 have already started, and two showrooms have also been opened in Surat and Chennai. The car manufacturer aims to create a network of 35 showrooms in 27 cities by the end of this year.

Winfast VF6: Three Trim Levels
Winfast VF6 comes in three trim levels – Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity – The prices start from Rs 16.49 lakh. The price of Winfast VF7, which is a flagship model starts at Rs 20.89 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

10 years/2 lakh km standard warranty

Winfast is offering 10 years/2 lakh km of standard warranty on VF7 and its battery pack. 7 years/2 lakh km warranty on VF6 and 10 years/2 lakh km warranty on its battery. Buyers will also get free charging on VGREENS Chargers by July 2028, 3 years free maintenance and free curtain for panoramic sunroof.

VF6: Paurtrain Setup
The Winfast VF6 range and battery Winfast VF6's powertrain setup is equipped with 59.6kwh battery pack, which comes with a single motor and FWD (front-wheel-drive) system. This configuration offers 204bhp power and 310Nm torque. Winfast claims that the VF6 gives a range of Aria-approved 468 km once charged. It takes only 25 minutes to charge 10 to 70% fast. Its wheelbase is 2,730mm and ground clearance is 190mm.

VF7: Range and Battery

The Winfast VF7 range and battery Winfast VF7 have a large 70.8kwh battery pack, which can be taken with a single motor or dual-motor setup. It gives a range of 532 km once charged. The dual-motor AWD version generates maximum power of 350bhp and torque of 500Nm. It catches the speed of EV 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. It takes only 24 minutes to charge from 10% to 70%.

Interior theme option
The VF6 Earth Trim is available in the all-black cabin theme, while the wind trim gets dual-tone mocha brown and black interior. Similarly, the Winfast VF7 Earth Trim has a sporty all-black interior theme, while the high wind and sky variants have Mocha Brown and Black Theme.

Tata Motors has become the first passenger segment brand of India, which has announced a revised price with new GST on its products. This price cut will be applicable from 22 September 2025, the day the new GST rates will be effective.

How much will be saved?
Now let's talk about the savings of GST, then the price of Nexon will be the highest cut, which is Rs 1.55 lakh, after which the price of safari and Harrier will be cut by Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh respectively.

New GST Rates

The revised GST structure has made cars more accessible to all categories of cars. Small cars with length less than 4 meters which will have petrol engines up to 1,200cc or diesel engines up to 1,500cc, now only 18% GST will attract GST, which was earlier 28%, making them 5–13% cheaper. Large cars with lengths more than 4 meters will now face 40% GST instead of 28%, but since the cess has now been removed, their total tax load has come down, which has reduced prices by 3-10%.

Personal mobility will be more affordable
While doing this announcement, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited said, “From 22 September 2025, the GST cut on the effective passenger vehicle from September 22, 2025 is a progressive decision that will make the personal mobility more affidavit for millions of people across India. According to the philosophy, Tata Motors will fully honor the spirit and purpose of this improvement and will give full advantage of the deduction in GST to our customers. ”

  • Tiago (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 75,000. This deduction will be at Rs 4,99,990.
  • Tigor (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 80,000. This deduction will be at Rs 5,99,990.
  • Ultrose (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.10 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 6,89,000.
  • Panch (compact SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 85,000. This deduction will be at Rs 6,19,990.
  • Nexon (compact SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.55 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 7,99,990.
  • Curve (mid-size SUV)-The price will be cut by Rs 65,000. This deduction will be at Rs 9,99,990.
  • Harrier (Premium SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.40 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 14,99,990 for the base variant.
  • Safari (Premium SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.45 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 15,49,990.

New GST system from 22 September
Petrol/CNG vehicles up to 1200 cc and diesel vehicles up to 1500 cc (length up to 4 meters) will now be attached to 18 per cent GST while GST will be 40 per cent on engine above 1200 cc and GST on 4 meters long vehicles. This new GST rates will be applicable from 22 September (on the first day of Navratri).

The powerful turbo-petrol engine comes with two gearbox options-6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic. The 82bhp petrol engine is available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
