New Delhi. Renault launched facelifted Kiger a few days ago, which has several updates compared to the previous model. It directly competes with Nissan Magnite as both are the most affordable options in the sub-4 meter SUV segment. Interestingly, both are based on the same platform and use the same architecture. As expected, both are quite similar but many different aspects are also very different. Interestingly, Magnite has also received an update recently in December 2024. Dimensions
Magnite is a bit longer and wide than Kiger. However, Kiger is higher than Magnite. Since both are based on the same platform, their wheelbase is exactly the same. Safety features

New Delhi. China's leading car manufacturer Gely has announced that its lead Galaxy M9 PHEV has filed more than 40,000 pre-cell orders within 24 hours after the bookings were opened on August 24. It is available in full-size plug-in hybrid SUV 6 variants, priced between 193,800 yuan (27,040 USD) to 258,800 yuan (36,100 USD). As the largest vehicle in the Galaxy lineup, it targets families looking for 6-seat layout and extended-ranged hybrid performance.

“Brilliant Galaxy”
The M9 is derived from the Galaxy Starship Concept shown at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show and includes many of its design elements. At the front, “Brilliant Galaxy” connects LED light bar headlamps, while a Lidar sensor is given on the roof. The length of the vehicle is 5,205 mm, the width is 1,999 mm and the height is 1,800 mm, which has 3,030 mm squat, which makes it only 4 mm smaller than the Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Interior
Inside, three-round 2+2+2 seating layout offers power-adjustable chair with heating at all places and Ventilation plus massage in the first two row. Byd has launched its most affordable electric SUV Atto 2, which is on trial in Delhi NCR. Its price starts at £ 30850 in the UK. It has two battery options and fast charging.

New Delhi. Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has unveiled its most affordable electric SUV, Atto 2, ever. This compact model is already passing through road trials in Delhi NCR. India is trying to strengthen its position in the fast growing electric SUV segment, where buyers are looking for affordable but feature-rich options.

Launched in UK
BYD has officially launched ATTO 2 in the UK market, where its start is £ 30,850 (about ₹ 32.5 lakh), which is for the base boost variant, while the high end comfort trim is priced £ 34,950 (about ₹ 41.3 lakh). Atto 2 is part of a strategic change for 2 byd, moving beyond the luxury electric vehicle segment, including models like Atto 3, Seal, and Sealion 7. Built on the Advance E-Platform 3.0 architecture of Byd, this compact SUV is 4,310mm long, 1,830mm wide and 1,675mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm. These dimensions make it stand with players like Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv Ev, and Mg ZS EV.

Two separate battery configuration

Byd has prepared two separate battery configurations for Atto 2, which meet the needs and price points of different range. The base boost variant has a 51.1kwh blade battery pack that offers a 345km Wltp-approved range, while the comfort model has a 64.8kwh battery that increases the range by 420km. Both variants use front-wheel drive configurations, which are powered from single electric motor that generates 174bhp and 290Nm torque.

80 % charge in 30 minutes
The boost model 82kw DC supports fast charging, causing 30–80% battery charge in 30 minutes, while the advance 155kw charging system of comfort variants reduces this time by only 21 minutes. Both variants include BYD's signature blade battery technology, which has been engineered for safety, stability and thermal efficiency.

Kia Seltos 2026 or 2027 can be launched in India with new design, triple screen, hybrid powertrain and increased size, which will be longer than Jeep Compass.

New Delhi. KIA SELTOS is one of the highest selling models for South Korean automaker in India. Amid the growing competition in this segment, the car manufacturer is preparing to give it a generation upgrade, which will include large design changes, technology upgrade and hybrid powertrain. Although there is no official information on its launch timeline in India, according to media reports, second Jane Kia SELTOS can debut in 2026 or 2027.

New design language
Bold design and dimensions will adopt the latest 'OPPOSITES United' design language of the new Kia SELTOS brand, as seen on Syros. It will have a newly designed front grille, slim and angular vertical drls and new fog lamp assembly. Spy image shows that 2026 Kia SELTOS will have a full LED light strip connecting new alloys and tail lamps.

Will get new features

According to reports, SELTOS size will increase with generation upgrade. Its total length is expected to increase 100 mm, making it the longest SUV in the segment. In fact, it will be longer than the Jeep Compass and will offer more boot space than the current generation. Triple screen and more new Kia SELTOS will possibly borrow a trinity panoramic display from Syros, which will include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and dedicated 5-inch touchscreen for climate control. The infotainment system will support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additional new features are also expected to be added to the feature kit.

1.5L Natural Aspirated Petrol Engine
Hybrid power will be hybrid with new Kia Seltos this generic upgrade. The South Korean Automaker is likely to electrify its 1.5L natural aspirated petrol engine, although it will be reserved for top-end trims. Existing 1.5L Natural Aspirated Petrol, 1.5L Turbo Petrol and 1.5L Turbo Diesel Engine will also be available. Transmission options will also remain the same.

How much will the price be?
The company has not yet announced the official price of this car. The next month i.e. September 2025, its price can be revealed. Talking about the possible price, it is believed that it can be launched between the price range of 20 lakh to 25 lakhs.

New Delhi. Tata Motors has prepared to return many new generation models, facelift and special edition with seven new names. Future's Tata Product Series will be based on different platforms. The price of these models will be between Rs 10 lakh to 20 lakhs, including petrol/diesel, electric and hybrid segments. In the sub-4 meter SUV segment, the domestic automaker will introduce three models, including Tata Punch facelift, Tata Scarlet (fully new) and Next Jane Tata Nexon.

Tata Panch facelift
Changes in the design of 2025 Tata Panch will be inspired by Panch EV. It will have thin headlamps, redesigned bumpers, new LED DRL signature and new alloy wheels. The subcompact SUV is likely to get a 10.25-inch large touchscreen infotainment system, a full-fledged digital instrument cluster and two-spoke steering wheels like ultraz. A touch-based HVAC control panel can also be introduced. For power, the updated punch will continue to use 86bhp, 1.2L NA petrol and 73.4bhp, CNG engine.

Tata scarlet

Codename Scarlett, a fully new Tata Compact SUV will come with Boxy Stance with inspired design elements from Sierra. This will be based on a monocock platform, which will support several powertrains. While the official engine details are not currently available, the new Tata Scarlett Subcompact SUV is expected to be introduced with 120bhp of Nexon, 1.2L turbo petrol, 125bhp of curve, 1.2L TGDI petrol or a completely new 1.5L petrol engine. An electric variant of scarlet can also be introduced later.

New Jane Tata Nexon
Tata is also working on the new Nexon. The new model will be designed on the new design of the current X1 architecture. 2027 is expected to upgrade major design changes and feature for Tata Nexon. The existing petrol and CNG powertrain option is expected to remain, while diesel can be discontinued due to upcoming BS7 Emishine Standards.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara and Hybrid Battery Electrode Unit in Hansalpur, Gujarat, which will be exported to 100 countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the local production unit of Maruti Suzuki Motor's hybrid battery electrode at Hansalpur plant in Gujarat and gave the green signal to the export of Maruti Suzuki's first global battery electric SUV, E-Vitara. This model will be made in India and will be sent to more than 100 countries including European countries and major markets like Japan.

Prior to this program, PM Modi described this launch as an important step towards India's self -sufficiency. He said that E-Vitara is a major achievement for the country's electric vehicle ecosystem and the start of electrode production in Gujarat will promote domestic battery manufacturing. The e-Vitara has been introduced as a global electric SUV and has a length of 4,275 mm, width 1,800 mm, height 1,640 mm and wheelbase 2,700 mm. It uses a 3-in-1 electric system which integrates motor, inverter and transmission.

Two battery pack option

Customers will have two battery pack options. A 49kwh unit with a front-mounted motor producing 144hp and 189Nm, and a large 61kwh unit with 174hp and 189Nm produced with front motor. For better performance, the large battery will be introduced with the all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, with a 65hp rear motor. This AWD variant develops a joint output of 184hp and 300Nm, while the charge on the large battery pack is expected to give a driving range of more than 500 km.

Will get better after cell service
Maruti Suzuki will also create a strong charging and service network with E-Vitara. The owners will get smart home charger and installation assistance, while in the top 100 cities, public fast-charging points will be installed every 5-10 km within 2-3 years. To further strengthen after cell support, the company will prepare 1,500 eV-red workshops in more than 1,000 cities.

New Delhi. Mahindra has created history with the BE 6 Batman Edition, which is the world's first Batman-inspired SUV. On August 23 at 11:00 am, this SUV record broke in 135 seconds as soon as the booking opened. All 999 units were sold almost immediately. The company initially planned to sell it as a collector edition of 300 units, but, Mahindra increased it to 999 units after tremendous response. Nevertheless, this extended batch barely disappeared in two minutes. This is a product of the first partnership made with SUV Mahindra Warner Brothers Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP).

When will delivery start
The BE 6 Batman Edition is based on Mahindra's Electric Origin SUV's flagship 79kwh pack 3 variants, designed to be inspired by Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trillji. It is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and delivery is scheduled to begin on September 20, International Batman Day. Warner Brothers Discovery Global Consumer Products Developed Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition BE 6 is based on the range-topping pack 3 (79kwh) variant of BATman Edition Be 6.

Black finish, bold look

The outer part has special custom satin black finish, Batman decals, 20-inch alloy wheels and bold alkmy gold-painted suspension and brake calipers. Projects have been made on the ground through Bat Insignia's hub caps, quarter panels, rear bumper and even night trail carpet lamps. “Be 6 the Dark Night” badge underpins its collector appeal. Inside, the cabin has a swed-leather upholstery with gold stitching, a numbed batman edition plate, embossed bat logo and a special infotainment animation. Apart from this, Mahindra is also working towards securing the future of cars by developing the flex-fuel engine. This engine will be able to move the E30-rated fuel and even beyond.

Mahindra ready for future

As the Indian government is searching for options to increase the ethanol mixture in petrol to 30 percent (E30) by 2030, Mahindra is getting ready to introduce an engine that will be compatible with this fuel. Engineers will need to reintegoring to run on E30 and high-rated fuel (up to 100 percent ethanol-based); Ethanol material sensors include monitoring the convention of ethanol in real time, as well as fuel rail and injector heaters for cold start, required upgrade.

Fuel Flex in Auto Expo 2025

New Delhi. Between the growing competition, Hyundai is preparing to give a new generation upgrade to Venue in its sub-4 meter SUV segment. Its third generation model will come with large design changes and feature updates, while the existing engine options will be retained. 2025 Hyundai Venue will be available for sale in India on October 24, 2025. Before its official debut, its interior information has come out through leaked spy images.

Dual screen
Dual screen spy shots like Creta confirms that the new Hyundai venue will have a 10.2-inch free-standing screen setup. One screen will serve as infotainment system, while the other as instrument cluster. New Delhi. BMW Group India has achieved a major achievement by delivering more than 5,000 electric vehicles, making it the first luxury car manufacturer to do so in the country. To celebrate this achievement, the company has inaugurated the 4,000 km long high-power charging corridor from Jammu to Madurai, which strengthens its leadership in India's premium electric mobility segment.

High-power charging corridor
The charging network for all EV brands open the new launched corridor every 300 km of charging station stabilizes, making inter-city travel easier and eliminating charging availability or range engagement. Covering major highways and cities including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hubli, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Madurai, it is available to all EV customers in the interactive India, not only BMW owners.

Capacity ranging from 120 kw to 720 kw

Each charging station will have a capacity ranging from 120 kW to 720 kW, and will be operated in partnership with Statiq and Zeon. For the convenience of customers, BMW has made chargers near cafes, restaurants and public places, where drivers can rest during recharging their vehicles. Digital integration will offer real-time charger status, root planning, filtering option through MyBMW app and in-car system.

BMW already offers around 300 BMW Destination Chargers in India's luxury hotels, resorts and malls. With partnership with public network, the company now accesses over 6,000 charging points across the country. BMW also offers BMW charging conjunctions to customers. Talking about growth in EV sales, BMW has been India's most favorite luxury EV brand for the last three years. In the first half of 2025, BMW Group India (BMW + Mini) sold 1,322 EV, with a growth of 234% year-on + 234%.

BMW IX1 long wheelbase is the best selling model
BMW IX1 long wheelbase emerged as the best -selling model, followed by BMW i7. The company's portfolio includes BMW i7, IX, i5, I4, IX1 LWB, MINI Conscious E, and Electric Two-wheelers CE 04 and CE 02, which offer customers the largest luxury electric option in the country.
