India's 'Bhakal' will be held around the world, Tata will enter this big market
New Delhi. Over the years, Tata Motors has created a strong image as a global automotive brand, not only for commercial vehicles but also in the passenger vehicle (PV) segment. Earlier, the company faced some difficult challenges in the PV segment, due to which the company's business was stopped in some big foreign markets.

Tata's entry in South Africa
Now Tata has decided to re -enter the South Africa PV market, Tata Motors exited South Africa's passenger car market in 2019, but, after 6 years, the Indian car manufacturer has now announced an entry again in the market. Confirmation of this development Motus Holdings Ltd. Has done, which has been appointed as a special distributor for Tata's passenger vehicles in South Africa.

Big market for tata

Yash Khandelwal, Head International Business, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited said, “South Africa is an important market in our Global Execonation Journey. With a partner like our class-lead products and Motus, we are here to offer our South African customers safe, stylish and innovative vehicles. We are here. Range, and Industry Leading will offer a special and Future Ready Mobility Experience with the support of the leading aftercels. ”

Which Tata models will go on sale?
The Tata will officially launch its PV range in South Africa on 19 August 2025. The company has also released a teaser in which a hint of potential models has been given for launch in South Africa. These include Punch, Harrier, Curvv and Tiago. It is expected that these models will be similar to the Indo-Spec model. However, the models sold in South Africa will be entirely CBU units manufactured in India.

Tata's portfolio in South Africa
Tata Motors first entered the South Africa PV market with Indica and IndiGo in 2004. The brand later extended by introducing Vista, Safari and Aria. South Africa is one of the major export markets for India-based OEMS. Cars and light commercial vehicles manufactured in India make about half of all vehicles sales in the country. Kia Carens Clavis Ev: India's first 7 seater electric car, perfect for big family

Kia Carens Clavis Ev: India's first 7 seater electric car, perfect for big family

New Delhi. Amidst the glut of electric SUV in the market, Kia Carens Clavis Ev looks like a fresh air. It focuses more on EV power, performance, range and some off-road features. This electric car of Kia is made keeping in mind the family who prefer to travel together. Kia ran India's first 7-seat mass-market EV, which comes with 42 kwh and 51.4 kwh battery options.

How is the design?
The design is like Carens Clavis Ice (petrol and diesel), but there are some fine differences – EV has air flaps for closed grills, separate alloy wheels, 'EV' badging and low drag. The cabin has a center console with 'floating design', gear lever has been transferred behind the steering wheel (as a stock), the instrument cluster has information like range/charge in the instrument cluster, besides a small front trunk below the bonnet.

How is the cabin?

Klavis EV has a fairly practical cabin-the second row seats can slide/relieve, and the third is an one-tach electric tumble for easy access to the row. 'Boss mode' lets you shift the front passenger seat from behind. Adults of average size in third row can easily fit, and the flat floor comfort up.

The driver's seating position is good, the road has a commanding view. Gear stock has to flick to go from P to R to R. Because there is a battery pack in the floor, the seating position is high. The suspension sounds a bit hard (for extra battery weight), the rest of the back seat is good, and the legroom looks better than the Creta Electric, with which it shares the platform and the battery pack.

What is i-Pedal?

There is a technique in this EV called I-Pedal. You have to set the braking on a maximum level using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel (and the maximum level is I-Pedal). Then, as soon as you remove your foot from the accelerator, the car slows down very fast. In stop-end-go traffic, it means that you will not have to use a brake pedal at all.

What is the True Range?
Where Kia claims a range of 490 km, the Test car showed a 384 km real world range, not enough for long trips, but with the right driving a family can travel from Delhi to Jaipur/Agra/Chandigarh or Mumbai to Nashik/Pune. Should you buy it? The 42-KWH variant is priced at Rs 17.99-20.49 lakhs, and the 51.4-KWH variant is priced at Rs 22.49-24.49 lakhs. It is in the same range of Creta Electric, but Kia also has more space, a little long range, fast charging and seven seats options.
