What are the mechanical improvements to the Aston Martin DB12 S?

The DB12 S uses an updated version of Aston Martin's 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This unit is now ready to deliver 690 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. Claimed results are a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.

Changes include revised gearbox calibration for quicker gear shifts. The carmaker claims they are now 50 percent faster, and throttle response has also been improved. The launch control system has also been optimized for better traction and acceleration.

The exhaust system has also been redesigned with a quad-tailpipe setup, which has been tuned to deliver a deeper tone. Buyers can opt for the titanium exhaust, which is 11.7 kg lighter and slightly louder by 1.5dB, which comes at an additional cost.

Carbon ceramic brakes (CCB), 410 mm front and 360 mm rear discs are also standard on the car, reducing unsprung mass by 27 kg compared to conventional steel brakes. This not only improves ride comfort but also enhances braking stability during high-performance driving.

A new Corner Braking Control (CBC) system, integrated with the car's electronic stability and traction systems. This helps maintain stability during trail braking and tight cornering.

Standard features include 16-way Sport Plus seats with optional carbon fiber performance seats for lighter weight. Three cabin themes are offered: Accelerate, Inspire S (semi-aniline + Alcantara), and Inspire S (full semi-aniline leather), each featuring 'S' herringbone quilting and Alcantara headlining.

Optional additional features include an Alcantara-wrapped heated steering wheel and embossed and debossed seat headrests with Aston Martin wings, a first for the brand.

New Delhi. Mercedes-Benz India has achieved its highest monthly sales in the company's history, driven by strong customer response following the government's GST 2.0 reforms. September 2025 sales increased by 36% compared to September 2024, proving to be a record month for the luxury carmaker.

The festive season further boosted demand, with over 2,500 units sold in just nine days during Navratri, the highest ever festive sales for Mercedes-Benz India. This strong momentum continued into Q2 FY25-26, with 5,119 units sold and total sales from April to September reaching 9,357 units, representing a growth of 4% year-on-year.

Top and Key Luxury Segments Drive Growth Mercedes-Benz India recorded record monthly sales for its flagship SUVs such as the GLS, AMG G63, GLE, GLC and EQS SUVs, reflecting the strong performance of the top-end luxury segment, which witnessed a penetration of 25% and growth of 12% year-on-year. Notably, 75% of top-end vehicles sold were 'Manufacturer' models, which offer individual options and special appointments.

The core luxury segment also contributed significantly, with the long wheelbase E-Class, GLC and GLE SUVs achieving their best ever monthly sales. The LWB E-Class continued to be India's best-selling luxury sedan, registering a growth of 47% year-on-year in Q2 FY 25-26.

Festive spirit and GST 2.0 boost customer sentiment “The overwhelming response in September reflects the pent-up demand following the GST 2.0 reforms, as well as attractive offers under our ‘Dream Days’ campaign,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. “The reduction in GST rates, amid rising car prices due to macroeconomic pressures, has had a positive impact on customer sentiment. We expect this festive shopping momentum to continue till Dhanteras and Diwali.”

Entry Luxury Segment While the entry luxury segment featuring the A-Class sedan and GLA SUV maintains its value proposition and appeal to young buyers, it faced a decline in Q2FY25-26 due to competition from lower priced offers coupled with market incentives.

Mercedes-Benz India's record-breaking September sales underline the brand's strong position in the luxury market, reflecting strong demand across all segments and continued optimism for the remainder of the festive season.

New Delhi. Next Jane Hyundai Venue is set to land on Indian roads on November 4, 2025. Although its official debut and launch are yet to be left, some big details of the production ready model have come out. These spy images revealed before the launch give a lot of information about the new venue.

What did spy images reveal?

Black colored, the new venue has a completely new front face, which has an inspired grill from Palisade, which has a signature logo in the center, redeemned headlamps, straight bonnet and changed bumper. An adas module is also visible at the bottom of the bumper. Earlier images showed that 2025 Hyundai Venue will have new designed 16-inch alloy wheels, sharp wing mirror, thick body cladding, new glass house and newly connected LED tailamps around the wheel arch.

Will you get Level-2 Adas?
The interior of the new venue will possibly be upgraded with a newly designed dashboard that will have integrated dual screens, new AC vents and new centers console for infotainment and instrument functionalities. In the case of feature, the SUV is expected to get Ambient Lighting, Wireless Charger, Auto Dimping IRVM, automatic climate control, type-c charging ports and more in the SUV.

The engine will not change
There will be no change in mechanically, 2025 Hyundai Venue. The uses of 1.2L natural aspirated petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine will continue in the subcompact SUV. Transmission options will include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic units.

Price may increase
After launching, the new Hyundai Venue 2025 will compete with Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Skoda Kylaq and Mahindra Xuv 3xo. With technical upgrade and new styling, Next Jane's model is expected to see a minor price hike. The price of current Jane's venue is between Rs 7.26 lakh-Rs 12.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
