इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया वाहनों पर केंद्रित स्टार्टअप सिंपल एनर्जी ने 2025 के लिए अपनी विस्तार रणनीति की घोषणा की। कंपनी की योजना पूरे भारत में 150 नए स्टोर और 200 सर्विस सेंटर खोलने की है। कंपनी ने मई 2023 में व्यावसायिक रूप से लॉन्च किया और वर्तमान में पांच दक्षिणी राज्यों के सात शहरों में काम कर रही है और 1,500 से अधिक वाहन डिलीवरी पूरी कर चुकी है।
यह विस्तार भारत के इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया बाजार में मजबूत विकास पथ के बीच हुआ है, जिसमें 2024 में खुदरा बिक्री 33 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 1.14 मिलियन यूनिट हो गई है। सिंपल एनर्जी कर्नाटक, महाराष्ट्र, तमिल के प्रमुख बाजारों सहित 23 राज्यों में अपनी उपस्थिति बढ़ाएगी। नाडु और गुजरात, महानगरीय, टियर 2 और 3 शहरों को लक्षित कर रहे हैं।
कंपनी के संस्थापक और सीईओ सुहास राजकुमार ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि यह विस्तार उनके प्रमुख मॉडल, सिंपल वन में ग्राहकों के विश्वास को दर्शाता है। इस रणनीति का उद्देश्य इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों तक पहुंच बढ़ाना और देश भर में एक व्यापक सेवा बुनियादी ढांचा तैयार करना है।
कंपनी ने पहले ही तमिलनाडु के होसुर में एक विनिर्माण सुविधा स्थापित कर ली है, और एंजेल निवेशकों और पारिवारिक कार्यालयों से प्री-सीरीज़ ए और सीरीज़ ए फंडिंग राउंड के माध्यम से 41 मिलियन डॉलर जुटाए हैं। यह रणनीतिक विस्तार भारत में इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी की बढ़ती गति को रेखांकित करता है, जिसमें सिंपल एनर्जी जैसे स्टार्टअप विविध शहरी और अर्ध-शहरी बाजारों में ईवी अपनाने में तेजी लाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं।
