Audi has unveiled the R26 Concept, providing a first look at its Formula 1 design language and detailing the team's preparations for its debut in the 2026 season. The reveal at the Audi Brand Experience Center in Munich is a major step towards the company's entry into the pinnacle of motorsport.

The R26 Concept introduces a clean, geometric aesthetic defined by titanium, carbon black and the new Audi Red. The brand's iconic four rings will also appear in red for the first time, reserved exclusively for its Formula 1 identity. Chief creative officer Massimo Frascella said the concept represents Audi's new design philosophy, which aims to unify its racing presence and road-car lineup through simplicity and precision.

Technical base and team structure

Audi's Formula 1 program operates at three major locations. The Neuburg facility in Germany leads the development of the power unit. This unit is a 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 hybrid that runs on sustainable fuel under the new 2026 regulations. The hybrid system will provide almost identical power to the combustion engine, making F1 technology relevant to the road car.

The Audi R26 Concept showcases the brand's new Formula 1 design language, featuring a mix of titanium, carbon black and Audi Red accents.

Chassis development and race operations are based at the former Sauber factory in Hinwil, Switzerland, now wholly owned by Audi. A technical office in Bicester, UK, provides access to motorsport expertise from the heart of “Motorsport Valley”.

The F1 team will be led by Mattia Binotto and Jonathan Wheatley, who will report directly to CEO Gernot Dollner. The driver lineup includes Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoletto, who combine experience with emerging talent.

Strategic move in motorsport

Döllner called the entry the “next chapter” in Audi's renewal, which aims to make the team competitive by 2030. CFO Jürgen Rittersberger said the move is in line with the brand's long-term business strategy, citing Formula 1's cost-cap model and global audience as key incentives.

Audi has already secured Adidas, BP and Revolut as key partners. The first full F1 car will be revealed in January 2026. This will then be followed by testing in Barcelona and Bahrain before the team's race debut at the Australian Grand Prix (6-8 March, 2026).

New Delhi. Porsche has launched the updated 911 Turbo S (992.2) in India, with prices starting at Rs 3.80 crore (ex-showroom). Launched globally at the Munich Motor Show earlier this year, this latest 911 model breathes new life into the brand's flagship supercar with electrified performance, sharp design and reworked dynamics. Deliveries in India are expected to begin in the second half of 2026.

3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six T-Hybrid powertrain
The new Turbo S is powered by Porsche's next-generation 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six T-Hybrid powertrain, which is shared with the latest 911 Carrera GTS, but with the addition of an additional turbocharger to deliver even more power. The result is a massive power output of 711bhp and 800Nm, which is 61hp more than its predecessor. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 2.5 seconds, 200kmph in 8.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 322kph.

14 second reduction in lap time
The new 911 Turbo S has become one of the fastest road-legal 911s ever, with a 14-second reduction in the Nurburgring lap time compared to its predecessor model. The Turbo S gets Porsche's most advanced chassis setup, including the latest Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) system and a new sports exhaust, which is 6.8 kg lighter due to its titanium construction. Braking duties rest on the largest discs ever fitted to a two-door Porsche: 420mm carbon ceramic rotors at the front and 410mm at the rear, which offer tremendous stopping power and fade resistance.

Unique 'Turbonite' finish
The 992.2 Turbo S differentiates itself with its wide stance, active front diffuser, new centre-lock alloy wheels (20-inch at the front, 21-inch at the rear) and a distinctive ducktail spoiler. The model also features a unique 'Turbonite' finish, a gray color scheme reserved exclusively for Turbo-badged Porsches, used on exterior accents, badging and wheels.

What's in the cabin?
The cabin also carries the same Turbonite theme, with accents on the steering wheel, dashboard, door trims, seat belts and even the chronograph. Standard features include 18-way adjustable sport seats plus with memory, a digital driver display, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control and a premium infotainment suite. The coupe is configured as a two-seater, however, optional rear seats can be added at no additional cost.

The new 2026 Toyota Fortuner is expected to retain the existing 2.8L diesel and 2.7L petrol engines in India. The diesel motor, mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox, produces maximum power of 204PS and torque of up to 500Nm. The petrol engine generates power of 166PS and torque of 245Nm. It can be had with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both RWD and 4WD drivetrains will remain on offer.

Tata Harrier and Safari petrol prices are expected to be more affordable than their diesel variants. Currently, the Harrier diesel lineup is priced between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 25.25 lakh and the Safari diesel is priced between Rs 14.66 lakh to Rs 25.96 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

Yamaha XSR155 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.50 lakh, while Yamaha FZ-Rave is available at Rs 1.17 lakh (all, ex-showroom, Delhi). New Delhi. The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara electric SUV was first showcased as an EVX concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, followed by its production-ready debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. This new EV will be launched directly against Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE6, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Tata Sierra EV. According to the latest media report, Maruti E Vitara will be available for sale in India on December 2, 2025.

The India-spec E Vitara is likely to have similar battery options and specifications as the global variant. This means that this EV will come with two battery packs – 49kWh and 61kWh – which will be paired with the electric motor fitted on the front XL. The larger 61kWh battery variant will also be available with dual motor setup and all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

Range
The 49kWh FWD variant will produce maximum power of 144bhp and offer a claimed range of 344km per charge. The 61kWh FWD variant will offer 174bhp power and a driving range of 428km, while the same battery pack with the AWD setup will offer 184bhp power and a range of 394km. Initially, the E Vitara may be available only with a single motor configuration. A dual motor variant may join the lineup later.

The production-ready Maruti E Vitara retains most of the design elements of the EVX concept, such as tri-slash LED DRLs at the front and rear, sporty 225/50 R19 tires (only with the AWD variant), charging ports on the front flanks, prominent wheel arches and C-pillar-mounted rear door handles.

Dimensions
The new Maruti electric SUV measures 4,275mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,635mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700mm. Its ground clearance is 180mm and its curb weight ranges from 1,702kg to 1,899kg (depending on the variant).

Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker, is on the verge of its most significant transformation into electric mobility. Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Scheduled to make its domestic debut on 2 December 2025 Maruti Suzuki India Limited's first fully battery-electric vehicle (BEV) for the Indian market. Although the date is now confirmed, the real challenge will be to translate that launch into real market relevance.

The small 49 kWh pack has a WLTP range of up to 344 km and is available with a front-wheel drive setup that produces 142 bhp and 193 Nm of torque. The larger 61 kWh pack is available in FWD and AWD variants. While the FWD variant offers a WLTP range of up to 426 km, from an electric motor that outputs 171bhp and 193 Nm, the AWD variant bumps the power output to 181 bhp and 307 Nm of torque, for a range of up to 395 km. Price-wise, early reports are around the starting range 20 lakh ex-showroom for the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara presents a modern and premium design with LED projector headlights, Y-shaped LED daytime running lights and front fog lamps. Since it is an electric vehicle, it does not require any conventional radiator grille. The side profile features black cladding and 18-inch aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels. At the rear, it has a black bumper, three-piece LED taillights connected by a glossy black strip.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Interior and features

Inside, the E Vitara is equipped with a dual-spoke steering wheel and a dual-screen dashboard setup. It includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other interior features include rectangular AC vents, an auto-dimming IRVM, semi-leatherette seats, an electronic parking brake and a wireless phone charger. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, 10-way adjustable driver's seat and ventilated front seats. The vehicle comes standard with seven airbags, 360-degree surround view camera and ADAS technology.

New Delhi. October 2025 proved to be very beneficial for the Indian automobile industry, as carmakers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Mahindra and Kia achieved their best sales figures this month. New GST reforms and strong festive season demand took the overall sales to 4,66,814 units, which was 3,97,947 units in the same month last year.

Nexon captures number 1
In the SUV segment, Tata Nexon (ICE + EV) maintained the top spot in the charts with total sales of 22,083 units, up from 14,759 units in October 2024, registering a 50% annual growth. It was also the best selling car of last month, followed by Maruti Dezire, Ertiga and WagonR.

Creta slipped to second place
With total sales of 18,381 units, Hyundai Creta retained the second position, witnessing a positive growth of 5 percent. These figures include ICE-powered Creta, Creta N Line and Creta Electric variants. Mahindra Scorpio took the third position among the top selling SUVs in October 2025, with 17,880 units shipped to dealers across the country. It recorded 14 percent annual growth.

Maruti Suzuki's Ford Focus took the fourth position with total sales of 17,003 units, leaving behind the Tata Punch. This compact crossover registered 4 percent annual growth. Mahindra Bolero ranked sixth among the top selling SUVs in October 2025, registering 46 percent annual growth. Meanwhile, the recently launched Maruti Victoris made its debut in the list of top 10 best-selling SUVs of the month. The midsize SUV recorded total sales of 13,496 units, leaving behind the Kia Sonet (seventh), Mahindra 3XO (eighth), Maruti Brezza (ninth) and Mahindra Thar (tenth).

IM Motors' new flagship SUV, the LS9, will be officially launched in China on November 12. Its limited time pre-sale prices will start from 336,900 Yuan (Rs 41,97,157.47) to 366,900 Yuan (Rs 45,71,386.88).

The company opened pre-orders on November 4 and more than 8,000 units were booked in just 30 minutes.

This hybrid car gets a range of 1,508 km. Along with the 800V hybrid platform, it also has a high-end digital cabin, which makes it different from other cars. Apart from this, this car has many unique features.

The LS9 has a unique feature – a built-in outdoor shower, which can store up to 10 liters of water.

The LS9 adopts IM's latest design language, including a closed front end, infinite light strip and distinctive L-shaped headlights.

The lower bumper is equipped with wide air intakes and dynamic vents.

Plus, it has an “ultra-wide smart projector light” key feature that can illuminate up to 8,000 square meters, which is almost enough to illuminate a small stadium.
