New Delhi. Official booking of the upcoming Mahindra XUV7XO has started from today (December 15, 2025). Interested buyers can now pre-book this SUV at any Mahindra dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000. This is actually the facelift version of Mahindra XUV700, the official debut of the new XUV7XO is going to happen on January 5, 2026.

How is the design?
The design teaser inspired by the XEV 9e/XEV 9S shows that the Mahindra XUV7XO will get a new front grille, as well as lighting elements like the Its side profile will be quite similar to that of XUV700, but it will be given new aero-optimized alloy wheels. At the rear, the new Mahindra XUV7XO will get a connected full width light bar and a slightly redesigned bumper. No changes will be made to the sheet metal.

Dimensions and color options
Talking about dimensions, the size of the SUV is likely to remain the same as the XUV700, i.e. its length will be 4695mm, width 1890mm and height 1755mm. Mahindra may also introduce new exterior color options along with the existing paint schemes, which include Dazzling Silver, Midnight Black, Everest White, Stealth Black, Electric Blue, Napoli Black, Deep Forest, Valyrian Silver, Burnt Sienna, Dual-Tone Option and Blaze Red with Black Roof (Blaze Edition).

Interior details have not been revealed yet. However, the Mahindra XUV7XO is expected to get a triple screen setup and a new two-spoke steering wheel, as we have seen in the XEV 9e. It can also get auto dimming IRVM, BYOD feature for rear seat entertainment, premium Harman Kardon audio system and other features.

New Safety Features Additional safety features can be found in Mahindra XUV7XO, which includes updated level 2 ADAS suite, 7 airbags, hill hold assist, electronic stability control, 360 degree surround view camera, tire pressure monitoring system and other features.

Engine and Gearbox
Options The Mahindra XUV7XO lineup will have 200bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 155bhp/185bhp, 2.2L diesel engine options, which are taken from the Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available in it.

With better styling and premium features, the price of XUV7XO may see a slight increase. The current XUV700 lineup is priced between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 23.71 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Delhi. The new MG Hector 2026 facelift has finally been launched in India. The updated SUV lineup comes in five variants – Style, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro – with prices starting from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh. The new 2026 MG Hector Plus 7-seater version is available in three variants – Sharp Pro MT, Sharp Pro CVT and Savvy Pro CVT – priced at Rs 17.29 lakh, Rs 18.59 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.

Design changes in the new 2026 MG Hector
Minor cosmetic changes have been made in this SUV. Its front has a newly designed grill which has a diamond shape pattern, updated air dam and slightly changed bumper. The updated Hector has newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels, new rear bumper and connected tail lamps at both the rear ends. The SUV is now available in five colors, including two new shades – Pearl White and Celadon Blue.

MG offers two interior themes – dual-tone Ice Gray with the 5-seater version and dual-tone Urban Tan with the 6 and 7-seater variants. The 2.7-litre petrol engine used in the FJ does not meet Australia's Euro 6 emissions regulations. Haley clearly said that this car was made mainly for Asian markets, where the rules are a little less strict. For this reason he said that in the current specification the FJ is a 'no-go zone' for Australia.

Old engine, new rules The reason for the limited availability of the Land Cruiser FJ is its 2TR-FE 2.7-litre petrol engine. Additionally, the launch of turbo petrol engines could further increase the competitiveness of these SUVs, as most rivals in this segment offer both petrol and diesel options. Also, this may also reduce the prices of both the SUVs. Currently, Harrier and Safari are available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which generates 167 hp power and 350 Nm peak torque. This engine comes with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Currently, the starting price of Safari is Rs 14.66 lakh (ex-showroom), while the price of Harrier starts at Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).

In October, 10,409 units of Grand Vitara were sold, while 13,496 units of Victories were sold.

This impacts the cost of imported components used in local assembly and completely built units (CBUs). Due to this the total operational cost of the company has increased. The brand further said that Mercedes-Benz India has largely managed these increases through its localization strategy, but selective adjustments have become necessary to keep the business sustainable.

Commenting on the issue, Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, “Currency challenges have persisted longer than we expected this year, with the euro consistently trading above Rs 100. Additionally, due to rising input costs, logistics expenses and inflation, our “The total operational costs have increased significantly.”

He further said, “Due to the continuous reduction in repo rate by RBI, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is able to pass this benefit to the customers, due to which the impact of increase in prices is reduced to a great extent.” The amount of price change will vary depending on the model. It will also have the option of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. FWD (front-wheel drive) system will remain standard, while AWD (all-wheel drive) will be available only in diesel variants.

This is the third launch of the brand in the country, before which JCW All4 and Countryman SE All4 have been introduced. It has a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which supplies power to the front wheels. There is no manual transmission option in this.

On the basis of power, this car accelerates from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 6.9 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 237 km per hour. Mini claims that this convertible gives a mileage of 16.82 km per liter. Round LED headlights have been provided in the front of the car, which are also accompanied by daytime running lights. The octagonal grille, blanked-off center trim, blacked-out horizontal elements, prominent 'S' badging and large air intakes add to its sporty look.

Electrically Operated Roof
This convertible retains the same recognizable design as the hardtop variant, but has an electrically operated roof, which can be opened or closed in 18 seconds, that too at speeds of up to 30 kmph. The side profile has been given a stylish and rugged look with 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and strong black cladding.

Talking about the interior, the Mini Cooper Convertible gets dual-tone minimalist interior, round design theme, pill-shaped air vents and a customizable dashboard made of sustainable materials. Black and beige color scheme is given on the dashboard. It has a 9.4-inch Android-based OLED touchscreen, which works as both infotainment system and instrument cluster. Head-up display is also available with it. Talking about the features, it has features like powered seats, Harman Kardon audio system, climate control, rearview camera, wireless charging, ambient lighting and cruise control.

e-Platform 3.0 Evo Architecture
The electric variants of BYD Sealion 06 are built on the company's e-Platform 3.0 Evo architecture, which supports both 400V and 800V systems. The entry-level EV has a 65.28 kWh battery, producing 170 kW of power and 330 N·m of torque, giving a CLTC range of 520 km. High-end 800V EVs come with a 78.72 kWh battery, 180 kW motor and a CLTC range of 605 km. It supports fast charging up to 237 kW and energy consumption is around 12.5 kWh per 100 km.

160 kW electric motor
Plug-in hybrid variants feature BYD's 5th gen DM-i system, which combines a 160 kW electric motor with a 1.5-litre engine (74 kW and 126 N·m). Battery capacity ranges from 18.3 kWh to 26.6 kWh, giving an electric-only CLTC range of 121 to 170 km and a total range of up to 1,670 km. The hybrid powertrain includes BYD's Seven-in-One Power Domain Control System.

Dimensions
The length of the vehicle is 4,810 mm, width is 1,920 mm, height is 1,675 mm and wheelbase is 2,820 mm. The interior has a 15.6-inch touchscreen, instrument cluster display, heated and ventilated front seats, 1.73 square meter panoramic roof and Dynaudio sound system. The EV version has an 800 volt electrical platform and 12-in-1 drive system, which supports fast charging up to 237 kW.

More than 30 thousand sales continuously for 4 months
After launch, Sealion 06 sold 4,697 units in July, 30,483 units in August, 30,901 units in September and 33,200 units in October. More than 30,000 units are being sold every month since August. Although the sales figure for November 2025 has not been officially confirmed as a record, the Sealion 06 achieved the production milestone of 1 lakh units within 100 days of launch, the fastest for any model from BYD. All variants of the Sealion family sold a total of 54,955 units in November, bringing BYD's total new energy vehicle sales to 4,80,186 units in November.
