Mileage of CNG car has reduced? Follow these 5 tricks, savings will start from the next day

Is your CNG car not giving the same mileage as before? Amidst the rising prices of petrol and diesel, every driver wants his car to run more at less cost. The good news is that by adopting just 5 easy habits, you can increase the mileage of your CNG car by 15-25%. From correct tire pressure to smooth driving and better servicing, know the effective tips that will give relief to both your pocket and engine.

How to increase mileage of CNG car

Nowadays, CNG car has become the first choice of the common man, because it is cheaper and eco-friendly as compared to petrol and diesel. But due to increasing inflation and traffic, many owners complain about low mileage of CNG cars. The good thing is that with some smart habits and maintenance, you can increase the mileage of your CNG vehicle to a great extent.

This will not only reduce your monthly expenses, but will also increase the life of the engine and reduce pollution. By adopting correct driving style, regular servicing and small precautions, you can improve mileage by 15-25%. In this article we are telling you the 5 most effective tips, which are practical and easily adopted.

1. Get regular servicing and tuning done

Regular checking of CNG kit is very important. Get the spark plug, air filter, fuel filter and injector cleaned every 10,000 kilometers. Old air filter reduces the air flow in the engine which reduces the mileage. With good servicing, the engine runs smoothly and the CNG burns completely.

2. Always keep the tire pressure correct

Low tire pressure is the biggest mileage thief. Check tire pressure every week and keep it at the correct pressure recommended by the manufacturer. Correct pressure reduces rolling resistance and takes less energy to propel the car. This can increase mileage by 8-10%.

3. Adopt smooth and disciplined driving

Pressing the accelerator suddenly, sharp braking and driving at high speed make CNG cost more. Stable driving at a speed of 50-80 km/hr is considered best. Change gears at the right time and reduce unnecessary AC use.

4. Don't overload the car

Do not load more luggage or passengers than necessary in a CNG car. Every extra 50 kg of weight can reduce the mileage by 2-3%. Keep unnecessary items away from the boot. Lighter cars consume less fuel.

5. Fill good quality CNG

Fill CNG only from certified fuel stations. Poor quality gas damages the engine. Also, do not leave the car in open sunlight for a long time. Start driving in the morning with a cold engine. By adopting these tips, you will not only save money, but will also be able to keep your car healthy for a long time.

Kia Carnival or MG M9? Which MPV gives real luxury in ₹ 70 lakh, know

Need a spacious, comfortable and feature-loaded MPV for your family that won't leave you tired even on long drives? So both Kia Carnival and MG M9 are great options. The Carnival comes with traditional diesel power and reliable performance, while the MG M9 delivers a new experience with an electric powertrain, silent ride and futuristic luxury.

Talking about the price (ex-showroom), the Kia Carnival Limousine Plus variant starts from around ₹ 59.42 lakh. MG M9 Presidential Limo price starts at ₹70.90 lakh. The Carnival is more affordable, while the M9 is a bit expensive for the premium EV experience. Both are 7-seater MPVs that are best for large families, chauffeur-driven use or premium transport. Let us know which one is better to buy in terms of design and powertrain?

design details

Kia Carnival comes with a modern and bold look. With 5155 mm length, 1995 mm width, 1775 mm height and 3090 mm wheelbase, it sets the standards for premium MPVs. LED headlamps, dual sunroof and sleek profile make it attractive. Ground clearance is good (180 mm).

Whereas, MG M9 is big and imposing. With 5200 mm length, 2000 mm width, 1800 mm height and 3200 mm wheelbase, it is the largest in the segment. The boxy design, split LED lights, panoramic sunroof and powered sliding doors make it futuristic and road-dominating. Being an EV the front grille is blank. M9 is larger in size, which gives more road presence.

Cabin and Comfort

Both have an atmosphere of luxury, but the M9 is more specialized for backseat passengers. The Carnival features high-quality leatherette, 64-color ambient lighting, ventilated and heated seats. Second row VIP lounge seats provide comfort with power recline and leg rest. Third row is also usable. 12.3 inch touchscreen and digital cluster make it special.

On the other hand, the MG M9 gets presidential seats with 16-way adjustment, massage, ottoman leg rest and ventilation. Dual sunroof, JBL 13-speaker sound system, rear entertainment screens and more space (3200mm wheelbase) make it special. There is massage function in both front and rear rows. MG M9 has level-2 ADAS, rear touchscreens, V2L/V2V, wireless charging, panoramic view, PM2.5 filter, memory seats and i-SMART connected tech. The M9 is slightly ahead in features, especially in backseat entertainment.

Talking about safety, Carnival has 8 airbags, level-2 ADAS (Adaptive Cruise, Lane Keep, Blind Spot etc.), 360° camera, TPMS, ESC and good structure. The MG M9 can also be bought with 7 airbags, level-2 ADAS, 360° camera, 5-star Euro NCAP rating (expected/similar), ESC, TPMS and high-strength steel body. Both are safe, Carnival has one more airbag.

Powertrain details

Kia Carnival has a 2.2 liter turbo diesel (190 bhp, 441 Nm) engine, which comes with 8-speed automatic and FWD options. Its ARAI claimed mileage is 14.85 kmpl. The torquey engine is perfect for loaded drives and highways. MG M9 has a 90 kWh battery and single motor (242-245 bhp, 350 Nm). Its claimed range with FWD option is 548 KM (MIDC).

Summary: If you want diesel range and value, choose the Kia Carnival. If you want EV luxury, silence and big space then MG M9 is better. Which car you should choose between the two depends on your family use, budget and charging infrastructure. Do take a test drive and compare the two sitting on the rear seat.

Look at the craze! Tesla Cybertruck was taken into the lake for fun, police sent it to jail

Look at the craze! Tesla Cybertruck was taken into the lake for fun, police sent it to jail

A unique incident in Texas has created a stir on social media. A man was arrested for intentionally sinking his Tesla Cybertruck in a lake. The accused wanted to use the vehicle's 'Wade Mode' feature, which gives the Cybertruck the ability to drive in water up to 81.5 centimeters (32 inches) deep.

Police caught him on charges of driving in a closed area and violating water-related safety rules. This incident highlights the powerful and adventurous capabilities of the Cybertruck, but also shows how dangerous misuse of the features can be. Cybertruck is in the news for its unique design and power, but this incident also raises questions on its real-world use.

Abuse of Cybertruck's powers

This incident happened in a lake in Texas, where the accused tried to land the Cybertruck in water. According to Tesla's manual, when Wade Mode is activated, the ride height of the vehicle becomes very high and the battery pack is pressurized to protect it from water and debris. The mode is limited to 30 minutes and the speed should be kept at 2-5 km/hr.

Police said that part of the lake was closed and safety equipment was not followed. This matter has gone viral, where some people are considering it funny while some are questioning the responsibility of Cybertruck owners. The event highlights the Cybertruck's off-road and water wading capabilities, which make it different from traditional pickup trucks.

Tesla Cybertruck: Design Details

Tesla Cybertruck is the world's most unique and controversial electric pickup truck, which Elon Musk's company unveiled in 2019 and started deliveries from 2023. Its design is completely futuristic and angular. It has an ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel exoskeleton body, providing bulletproof-level strength.

The roof has the capacity to withstand 300 pounds of weight. It has air suspension, which can adjust the ride height. This improves approach, breakover and departure angles. The design features no conventional grille, LED lights, power-retractable tailgate and spacious interior with 6-passenger capacity. There is power cover and storage in the back. It is designed for off-roading. Its towing capacity is up to 11,000 pounds.

Powertrain and performance

The main variants of Cybertruck include Dual Motor AWD and Tri-Motor Cyberbeast. Cyberbeast has three electric motors (front: permanent magnet, rear: induction), which generate a total of 845 hp power and huge torque. The battery is 123 kWh, which gives an EPA estimated range of 320-350 miles (515-565 km). 800V architecture supports fast charging (up to 350 kW).

This sets the suspension very high and allows the battery pack to operate safely in up to 32 inches (81.5 cm) of water by pressurizing the air. Other features include Crab Walk (Crab Walking Mode), Full Self-Driving Capability (FSD) and Advanced Safety System. Its top speed is up to 130 mph. There is no official launch in India yet, but some private imports have been seen. Its estimated price can range from ₹ 50 lakh to ₹ 1.5 crore.

The craze for hybrid cars is increasing rapidly in India and Toyota has presented the biggest proof of this. The company has crossed the historical figure of sales of 3 lakh hybrid vehicles. Know the full report.

Toyota Innova Hycross is in highest demand.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has achieved the important milestone of 3 lakh units of hybrid vehicle sales in India. This achievement reflects the growing popularity of self-charging strong hybrid technology. Especially when Indian buyers are looking for a practical option between petrol cars and full electric vehicles. No need for external charging, better mileage and lower running costs have made hybrids mainstream.

Models like the Urban Cruiser Hyrider and Innova Hycross popularized hybrids beyond the premium segment to the family and mid-size segments. This milestone proves the success of Toyota's multi-pathway strategy, which is promoting sustainable mobility. The demand for hybrid is increasing rapidly in the Indian market, because this technology is proving to be most suitable for city traffic and long drives.

Hybrid car sales report

Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently announced that the total sales of its hybrid vehicles have crossed 3 lakh units. Urban Cruiser Hyrider and Innova Hycross have played the biggest role in this and both these models account for about 78% of the total hybrid sales. Premium models like Camry Hybrid and Vellfire have also contributed. This milestone is only for Strong Hybrids (self-charging), which also includes an 8-year hybrid battery warranty. The company said that this achievement shows customer confidence and acceptance of hybrid technology.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider

This is the company's first mainstream hybrid SUV, which popularized hybrids in the mid-size SUV segment. Since its launch in 2022, this model is known for its excellent mileage and low fuel consumption. Its strong hybrid system runs mostly on electric mode in stop-go traffic of the city, which saves a lot of running cost. The Hyrider not only increased Toyota's hybrid sales but also created a strong position against competing hybrid SUVs like the Maruti Grand Vitara. This model is popular among family users and those who want an SUV but also want better economy.

Toyota Innova Hycross

Innova Hycross completely changed the MPV segment. The Innova name is already synonymous with reliability, but the Hycross takes it to the next level with hybrid technology. It has sold more than 1 lakh units since its launch and is on top in overall hybrid sales. Its 2.0L hybrid system is ideal for long drives and family use, where up to 60% of the time can be run in electric mode. Hycross attracted diesel MPV users because it offers low maintenance, better comfort and superior fuel efficiency. This model has brought hybrid from luxury to mainstream segment.

Toyota Camry Hybrid

The Camry Hybrid has been a part of Toyota's hybrid lineup for a long time. This sedan marks the beginning of hybrid technology in the premium segment. With great looks, luxury features and good mileage, Camry is a favorite for executives and families who want both comfort and economy. Although its sales are not as high as Hyryder and Hycross, it contributes significantly to the total 3 lakh milestone. The Camry showed that hybrid technology could be successful even in luxury cars.

Toyota Vellfire

Vellfire is the company's luxury hybrid MPV, which targets the chauffeur-driven market. With premium interior, advanced features and powerful hybrid powertrain, it is for those who want a combination of luxury and economy. Vellfire has also recently crossed the milestone of sales of 5,000 units. Although its numbers are small, it helps in increasing the acceptance of hybrids in the high-end segment.

Famous YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Anurag Doval, known as UK07 Rider, is once again in the headlines. This time due to my financial constraints and emotional vlog. Anurag recently shared the pain of his shattered life by showing the empty garage of Dehradun in his YouTube vlog. When his garage was once full of superbikes, today it is silent.

Anurag Doval is a popular moto vlogger and travel content creator belonging to Uttarakhand. Millions of people liked the videos of his superbikes and adventure rides on social media. His popularity increased after participating in Bigg Boss, but incidents like rift with family, personal issues and car crash during Instagram Live in March 2026 badly affected his life. Amidst these difficulties, he is trying to make a new beginning with his wife Ritika and newborn child.

Everything is sold out!

Anurag was seen getting emotional in his recent vlog. Seeing the empty garage he said, 'The empire we had built is lying empty today.' He revealed that last year due to financial constraints he had to sell most of his luxury bikes. The total value of his bike collection is said to be around Rs 10 crore. This included high-end bikes like Kawasaki Ninja H2 (about Rs 80 lakh), BMW S 1000 RR, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, BMW R 1250 GSA. Earlier reports mentioned that he owned 7-8 luxury bikes and many cars (including Lamborghini), whose total value is more than Rs 8 crore.

Why did you have to sell the bike?

Anurag told that due to the financial crisis he was in dire need of money. He said that I was facing financial crisis daily. That's why the bikes had to be sold. Only I know how I survived at that time. He felt sad when the bikes were sold, but it was a compulsion. Electricity was also cut off as the garage property was not in his name. He also told that he is looking for a new place where he can live with his family.

How much money did you get after selling?

The exact amount received from the sale has not been disclosed in the vlog or reports. It is estimated that he would have earned a good amount of money by selling his collection valued at Rs 10 crore, which he used to overcome the crisis and take care of his family responsibilities. However, the exact figures are not public.

What is left now?

According to Anurag, now he has only two bikes left. In the vlog, he again got emotional while checking these two bikes. Clear information about the cars was not available, but the main focus was on bikes. They say that they will try to recreate old things.

fans support

This incident is emotional for the fans of UK07 Rider. On one hand, they are seeing the empire built by their hard work being lost, while on the other hand, they are also expressing hope for a new beginning. Anurag is trying to get his life back on track by returning to YouTube and continuing vlogging. His fans are supporting him and are hoping that soon he will return to his old form.

Keep these 5 things in mind before going to the mountains, otherwise the fun of the trip may get spoiled.

Keep these 5 things in mind before going to the mountains, otherwise the fun of the trip may get spoiled.

If you are troubled by the heat of Delhi-NCR and want to go to the mountains during weekends or holidays, then this journey can be very exciting but also dangerous. Winding roads, steep rocks, strong winds, sudden weather changes and narrow lanes on Himalayan routes often become the cause of accidents.

Every year hundreds of tourists lose their lives on these roads due to their carelessness. But with the right information, caution and discipline, you can make this journey memorable and safe. Hill driving is not a race, but a game of patience and understanding. If you want to save your life and that of your family, then definitely follow these 5 life-saving tips.

1. Complete checking and preparation of the vehicle

Before going to the mountains, get your car thoroughly checked at the service center. Make sure to check brakes, clutch, engine cooling system, tires (tubeless and with good grip), headlights and wipers. Carry extra brake fluid, engine oil, water, tool kit, spare tire and fully charged power bank. It is common for the engine to overheat in the mountains, so always keep the water and coolant levels in the radiator correct. If you leave in the morning, fill the tank full as petrol pumps are less in number above. If the vehicle is old or weak then avoid hilly travel.

2. Drive slowly and use lower gears

Do not maintain speed more than 30-40 km/h on hilly roads. Use your horn at every turn as anything may come your way. Always drive in lower gear when going downhill, do not press the brakes repeatedly, otherwise the brakes may fail. Stay in low gear even on uphill so that engine braking works. Never leave the car in neutral. Stay in the middle of the road at turns and minimize overtaking. Avoid driving at night as visibility becomes very low.

3. Keep in mind the weather and road conditions

In the mountains the weather changes in 10-15 minutes. Check news of rain, fog, snowfall or landslides in advance (from IMD app or local police). If it is raining, be even more careful as the road becomes slippery. Always go slowly at blind turns and stay on the left side. If there is a heavy vehicle coming from the front, then give way to it. Never take risks in a flooded drain or landslide area.

4. Avoid fatigue and take breaks

In long drives, take a break of 10-15 minutes every 1-1.5 hours. Have tea and breakfast, close your eyes and rest. Constant turns on hilly roads and fear of ditches increase fatigue. If there is only one driver, stay overnight and leave the next day. Keep the music light, don't talk on the phone. Children and the elderly must wear seat belts and do not allow them to look out of the window.

5. Emergency preparedness and correct behavior

Carry a first aid kit, torch, warm clothes, some dry food, water and rope. If the car breaks down, park it on the side of the road, keep the hazard lights on and stand on the side. Follow the advice of local people and traffic police. Overconfidence is the biggest enemy. If you have less experience in hill driving then take a professional driver or taxi. By following these tips you can return from your trip safely.
