New Delhi. Hyundai Motor India today announced that it will give its customers the recent benefit of cutting the Goods and Service Tax (GST) rate on Passenger Vehicle (PVS), which will reduce prices by Rs 2.4 lakh. The new prices will be effective from September 22, the day the new GST rates will be applicable.

Prices will decrease
Price reduction will be on the internal combustion engine (ICE) models, which are now based in 18% GST slab and 40% GST slab. Previously, the total tax on such models was between 29% to 50% (28% GST + 1% to 22% compensation cess). Among all Hyundai cars, the lowest price deduction will be Rs 60,640 at the orna. The biggest price reduction in Taxon will be up to Rs 2,40,303.

In the SUV segment, the price of Excession will be reduced by Rs 89,209. On the Venue and Venue N Line, the price cut will be between Rs 1,19,390 to Rs 1,23,659. Creta and Creta N Line prices will be reduced between Rs 71,762 to Rs 72,145. The price of Alakazar will be reduced by Rs 75,376, while, as stated earlier, the price of Taxon will be cut by Rs 2,40,303.

The company has said that it will give full advantage of GST cuts to its commercial vehicle customers. From September 22, the prices of all Tata trucks, buses and other commercial vehicles will decrease. The company said that by giving 18% tax to GST, the transport and logistics sector will get strengthened. This will reduce the cost of transporters, fleet operators and small businessmen.

According to the company, the prices of heavy truck (HCV) will be reduced from 2.8 lakh to 4.65 lakh rupees. Light and medium trucks will be cheap from 1 lakh to 3 lakh rupees. Bus and van prices will be cut from Rs 1.2 lakh to 4.35 lakh. Small passenger commercial vehicles will get relief from Rs 52,000 to 66,000. At the same time, pickup trucks will become cheap from 30,000 to 1.1 lakh rupees.

Tata cars will be cheaper by ₹ 1.45 lakh

Earlier, the company had announced to reduce the prices of its passenger vehicles. The company had announced that it would cut its passenger cars and SUV prices from Rs 65,000 to Rs 1.45 lakh. The new prices will be applicable from September 22, 2025.

  • Tiago (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 75,000.
  • Tigor (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 80,000.
  • Ultrose (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.10 lakh.
  • Panch (compact SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 85,000.
  • Nexon (compact SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.55 lakh.
  • Curve (mid-size SUV)-The price will be cut by Rs 65,000.
  • Harrier (Premium SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.40 lakh.
  • Safari (Premium SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.45 lakh.

New GST system from 22 September
Petrol/CNG vehicles up to 1200 cc and diesel vehicles up to 1500 cc (length up to 4 meters) will now be attached to 18 per cent GST while GST will be 40 per cent on engine above 1200 cc and GST on 4 meters long vehicles. This new GST rates will be applicable from 22 September (on the first day of Navratri).

Victoris – India's most fuel efficient car
Starting from Maruti Victoris, the midsize SUV will launch with three engine options – 103bhp, 1.5L mild hybrid petrol, 116bhp, 1.5L Strong Hybrid and 89bhp, 1.5L Petrol + CNG. Despite sharing his powertrain with Grand Vitara, it will be more fuel efficient than its cybbing. Maruti's new strong hybrid system

Maruti Suzuki is developing an in-house series Hybrid Povertrain (Kodename-HEV), which will make its debut in 2026 on the Fronx Compact Crossover. Unlike Toyota's Atkinson Hybrid system, Maruti's own hybrid technology will be very economical, while mileage will give more than 35kmpl. It will be a series hybrid system with a petrol engine, an electric motor and a battery. The car manufacturer will elect its 1.2L Z-series petrol engine for its Future Mass-Market Hybrid cars.

Baleno Hybrid, Mini MPV
The same hybrid powertrain will be introduced in the new-generation Maruti Baleno hatchback and Japan-Space Spaceia based MPV, later by Next-Jen Swift (2027) and All-New Brezza (2029). The Maruti Fronx hybrid is likely to have 'hybrid' badges on the exterior and some hybrid-specific software inside, while its original design and interior will remain intact.

Spy image suggests that the new Kia Seltose brand will adopt the new 'Opposite United' design language, which is like Syros. At the front, the SUV is likely to have a newly designed grill, vertically-posured DRL and new fog lamp cluster. Other highlights may include an LED light strip connecting new alloy wheels and taillamps.

To give the benefit of recent cuts in GST rate to its buyers, Mahindra & Mahindra on Saturday announced a price reduction in the price of Rs 1.56 lakh on sports utility vehicles (SUVs) like Scorpio, XUV700, Thar and Bolero. This price deduction will be effective from September 6, which came after the government reduced the effective GST rates on vehicles earlier this week.

The GST Council approved the tax deduction earlier this week. However the new GST rates will be effective from September 22, 2025, which is the first day of Navratri; Mahindra has announced an immediate price cut from 22 September today. After the GST rate cut, Mahindra's SUV line-up has become more cheaper, which will save buyers from Rs 1.01 lakh to Rs 1.56 lakh according to the model. Mahindra & Mahindra only make cars in the SUV segment.

The R15M comes in the new metallic gray color, while the R15 V4 is available in the metallic black, updated racing blue and matte pearl white paint scheme. The updated R15S is being introduced in matte black color, which has contrast red wheels.

No mechanical change
No mechanical changes have been made in the bike. The 2025 Yamaha R15 continues to use 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which comes with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine generates a maximum power of 18.4bhp and torque of 14.2Nm. The updated R15 lineup includes features such as assist and slipper clutch, traction control, upset-down front forks and quick shifters (only in selected variants).

Bookings of VF6 and VF7 have already started, and two showrooms have also been opened in Surat and Chennai. VF6: Paurtrain Setup
The Winfast VF6 range and battery Winfast VF6's powertrain setup is equipped with 59.6kwh battery pack, which comes with a single motor and FWD (front-wheel-drive) system. This configuration offers 204bhp power and 310Nm torque. Winfast claims that the VF6 gives a range of Aria-approved 468 km once charged. It takes only 25 minutes to charge 10 to 70% fast. Its wheelbase is 2,730mm and ground clearance is 190mm.

VF7: Range and Battery

The Winfast VF7 range and battery Winfast VF7 have a large 70.8kwh battery pack, which can be taken with a single motor or dual-motor setup. It gives a range of 532 km once charged. Tata Motors has become the first passenger segment brand of India, which has announced a revised price with new GST on its products. This price cut will be applicable from 22 September 2025, the day the new GST rates will be effective.

How much will be saved?
Now let's talk about the savings of GST, then the price of Nexon will be the highest cut, which is Rs 1.55 lakh, after which the price of safari and Harrier will be cut by Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh respectively.

New GST Rates

The revised GST structure has made cars more accessible to all categories of cars. Small cars with length less than 4 meters which will have petrol engines up to 1,200cc or diesel engines up to 1,500cc, now only 18% GST will attract GST, which was earlier 28%, making them 5–13% cheaper. Large cars with lengths more than 4 meters will now face 40% GST instead of 28%, but since the cess has now been removed, their total tax load has come down, which has reduced prices by 3-10%.

Personal mobility will be more affordable
While doing this announcement, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited said, “From 22 September 2025, the GST cut on the effective passenger vehicle from September 22, 2025 is a progressive decision that will make the personal mobility more affidavit for millions of people across India.   • Tiago (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 75,000. This deduction will be at Rs 4,99,990.
  • Tigor (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 80,000. This deduction will be at Rs 5,99,990.
  • Ultrose (small car) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.10 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 6,89,000.
  • Panch (compact SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 85,000. This deduction will be at Rs 6,19,990.
  • Nexon (compact SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.55 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 7,99,990.
  • Curve (mid-size SUV)-The price will be cut by Rs 65,000. This deduction will be at Rs 9,99,990.
  • Harrier (Premium SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.40 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 14,99,990 for the base variant.
  • Safari (Premium SUV) – The price will be cut by Rs 1.45 lakh. This deduction will be at Rs 15,49,990.

New GST system from 22 September
Petrol/CNG vehicles up to 1200 cc and diesel vehicles up to 1500 cc (length up to 4 meters) will now be attached to 18 per cent GST while GST will be 40 per cent on engine above 1200 cc and GST on 4 meters long vehicles. This new GST rates will be applicable from 22 September (on the first day of Navratri).

The booking of 2025 Citroen Basalt X has already started on a token amount of Rs 11,000.

The powerful turbo-petrol engine comes with two gearbox options-6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic. The 82bhp petrol engine is available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Midsize SUV has scored 31.66 out of 32 in adult safety and 43 out of 49 in child safety. Top-end ZX+ and ZX+ (O) Trims, which are equipped with strong hybrid and petrol-automatic powertrain, were selected for the crash test.

This new Maruti SUV includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX anchor for rear seats and 3 point seatbelts with reminders for all passengers. It also completes the AIS-100 Padistrian Safety Standards. Victoris is the first car of Maruti Suzuki to include Level-2 Adas suit for high trims.
