New Delhi. The country's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India, currently two sedans, Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Sale. In this, Maruti Suzuki Dzire is very popular in sedan India. As big as the customer base is near this sedan, no other sedan is with any other sedan in Base India. The company claims that the sale alone is not as much as the Dzire sedan alone, but also all other sedans of India.

According to Maruti, Dzire has more than 50% stake in the sedan segment. For reference, it achieved sales of 1,57,522 units, in 2023. Despite the generation change, sales increased to 1,67,988 units in 2024.Muti Suzuki India Chief Investor Relations Officer Rahul Bharti told analysts, Dzire has been a very powerful product. Only one sedan of Maruti has sold more than the collective cell of sedan cars across the country. Sedan is more than 50% stake. Maruti Suzuki Dzire is based on the compact sedan segment and directly competes with Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor. Large options include Volkswagen Warts, Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna and Honda City.

Maruti launched Fourth Jane's Desire in November 2024. It is available in four variants-LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+, which costs Rs 6,83,999 to Rs 10,19,001 (ex-showroom).

Engine and power
The new Dzire has Suzuki's Z12E 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine, which generates a maximum power of 81.58PS and peak torque of 111.7Nm. Transmission options include 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT. CNG options with 5-speed MT also get customers. The company claims to have a mileage of 24.79kmpl for petrol MT, 25.71kmpl for petrol AMT and 33.73kmpkg for CNG MT.
