New Delhi. India's very popular car manufacturing company Tata Motors launched Tata Punch in the year 2021. This SUV dominated the Indian market as soon as it was launched. This car has received continuous love from the customers. If we talk about the sales of this car, the situation is such that within a short time the company has increased the production of this car to 5 lakh units. Last year also Tata Punch was the best selling car of India.
All models, variants, special editions of Punch have been included in these 5 lakh units. All three models – petrol, CNG and EV have been included in this. This is a big achievement for the company. The company had completed the production of 4 lakh units of this car in August last year.
Engine and Power
Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine which is paired with 5-speed manual and AMT units. This motor generates 87bhp and 115Nm, while the CNG model, available only with a manual gearbox, produces 72bhp power and 103Nm torque. The model is also sold as an EV, and customers can choose between 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs that offer ranges of up to 315 km and 421 km respectively on a full charge.
