Tata's concern has also increased from the fact that in recent months, models priced much higher than the punch, such as Hyundai's Creta and Mahindra's Scorpio, have recorded a good sale. New players have also entered the compact SUV segment, such as Skoda launched on January 27 and Kia Kia Kia Kia Kia, launched on 1 February, has sold more than 50,000 units in total this year. Due to which the challenge for Tata has increased further.

First Time Buyers' first choice
About 70% of the Panch ICE buyers are first time buyers. EV's popularity among women buyers is also increasing, there are 25 % of women in the Panch cell. Panch has seen a lot of demand from urban and rural areas, with 24% sales coming from Tier-1 cities, 42% from Tier-2 and 34% Tier-3 cities. It continues to give large contribution to Tata Motors Total Passenger Cell portfolio, which is 36% of the sales.
