Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is bringing its classic icon Sierra in electric avatar. Sierra EV is scheduled to be launched on June 30, 2026 and will be built on the company's acti.ev platform. It is expected to have a 55-75 kWh battery pack, which can give a range of 450-600 km.
With AWD option, triple screen setup, premium features and strong safety, it will position itself among Harrier EVs. The estimated price is ₹20-25 lakh, which will make it attractive as a family EV SUV. The retro-modern design, spacious interiors and Tata's reliable EV technology can make it a game changer in the segment.
Skoda Kylaq Sportline
Skoda is going to launch Sportline, a sportier version of its popular sub-4 meter SUV Kylaq, in September 2026. It will be based on the standard Kylaq but will have a more dynamic look with black accents, sporty alloy wheels, unique styling elements and sporty interiors.
The 1.0 liter TSI turbo petrol engine (114 hp) will be available with manual or automatic transmission. Kylaq is already appreciated for its value for money and features, the Sportline version will make it more attractive to young customers and enthusiasts. Nissan Tekton
Nissan is going to debut the Tekton SUV on July 9, 2026, which is the company's return to the mid-size SUV segment in the Indian market. It will be based on Renault Duster only. With unique design, muscular stance, C-shaped LED lights and Himalayan inspired elements, it will become Creta-Seltos rival.
It will be offered in hybrid option with 1.0 and 1.3L turbo petrol. It will be value-packed with features like panoramic sunroof, 360° camera, ADAS. The price is expected to be between ₹11-18 lakh. It also has export potential under Made in India strategy.
