The new Kia Seltos has the option of two petrol engines and one diesel engine. Kia has kept aggressive pricing for the new Seltos, starting at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol NA manual variant. The pricing of the turbo-petrol and diesel variants is also attractive, with the top models costing up to Rs 19.99 lakh, which is the same or less than the previous model despite the upgrades and new platform. At the same time, the starting price of Tata Sierra is Rs 11.49 lakh for petrol NA variant and Rs 12.99 lakh for diesel, while the price of top models goes up to Rs 21.29 lakh. This makes it a more premium SUV, with more focus on space, whereas the Seltos targets customers who want value with advanced technology and features.
