For the first time, Delhi Police registered two FIRs for driving on the wrong side of the road, a case under BNS Section 281, Indian Express gave this information in one of its reports. This is the first time that an FIR has been registered in a case of wrong side driving in a Union Territory.

New Delhi. To intensify its action against traffic rules violations, Delhi Police has registered two FIRs related to driving on the wrong side of the road. The decision to register criminal cases against traffic rule violators is a major change in the way of law enforcement, in which instead of issuing challans, FIRs are now being registered. These FIRs have been registered by traffic assistant sub-inspectors in their respective traffic circles.

This is the first time in any union territory of the country that the police is registering a criminal case against those who break traffic rules. According to police officials, in both the cases a case has been registered under Section 281 of the BNS (reckless driving) and relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act. According to the Indian Express report, these FIRs have been registered by traffic assistant sub-inspectors in their respective traffic circles. An FIR was registered in Kapashera when a driver was caught driving in the wrong direction near Kapashera Chowk. The driver told the traffic policeman that he was in a hurry and wanted to avoid the traffic jam.

Rule of fine of Rs 5,000
Driving in the wrong direction attracts a fine of Rs 5,000. However, the FIR registered under Section 281 of the Indian Justice Code 2023 carries a maximum punishment of six months in jail, a fine of Rs 1,000 or both and the vehicle will also be confiscated. According to the Indian Express report, the people against whom cases have been registered in the first two FIRs have been released on bail after their arrest.

What will be the new rule?
Police officials said that registering an FIR for driving in the wrong direction will not become a general rule, but it is being implemented as a preventive measure. The report quoted an official as saying that if a traffic officer identifies a person who is endangering the lives of others or is driving in the wrong direction in a heavy traffic area, then an FIR will be registered against him.

The tank has received major updates this year making it more aggressive and powerful. It features a new exterior design with performance upgrades and added security.

Based on the Jeep Wrangler chassis, the Rezvani tank is offered with optional bulletproof and protection packages. Along with this, this SUV is equipped with other features including ballistic armor, bullet-resistant glass, night vision technology and underbody explosive protection for $85,000. This is on top of the SUV's asking price, which starts at $175,000 (~) 1.57 crore).

Rezvani Tank: 1,000 bhp V8

Rezwani Tank — The Tank can now be specified with multiple V8 engines, including a range-topping 1,000bhp supercharged unit derived from the Dodge Demon.

The rugged SUV in its latest iteration can now be configured with a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 from the Dodge Demon, making 1,000 bhp and costing an additional $85,000. But there are more accessible (relatively) V8 powertrains on offer, like the Hellcat's 707 bhp supercharged V8 which costs $65,000 or the 6.4-litre 500 bhp unit from the Viper SRT which lists for an extra $45,000.

If you want to stick to the standard options at no extra cost, you can choose between a 3.6-litre V6 producing 285 bhp or a turbocharged V4 engine producing 270 bhp. For the environmentally conscious, Rezvani also offers a plug-in hybrid version that combines a 17-kilowatt electric motor with a 2.0-litre petrol engine for a 20-mile (32 km) pure electric range.

Rezvani Tank: Ballistic Protection

The safety packages offered with the tank are enough to keep you comfortable during the zombie apocalypse. Starting with the additional $42,000 Safety Package, owners get features such as a smokescreen, runflat tires, reinforced suspension, electromagnetic pulse protection, electrified door handles, gas mask, hypothermia kit, as well as a pepper spray dispenser.

If that's not enough, the aforementioned armored package can be had with bulletproof glass and body armor for $85,000. The more affluent may choose to spend $145,000 on the B6 armored package with lighter composite armour. Rezvani claims it can stop high-caliber weapons and reduce weight by 50 percent.

Japanese automaker, Honda on Tuesday reported total sales of 4,46,048 units in December 2025, including 3,92,306 units in domestic sales and 53,742 units in exports. Notably, the company reported a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 45 percent compared to December 2024.

For the year-to-date (YTD) period of FY26 (April-December 2025), Honda reported total sales of 46,78,814 units. This includes 42,04,420 units sold domestically and 4,74,394 units exported, registering a growth of three percent year-on-year compared to December 2024.

Furthermore, the company recorded total sales of 5,91,136 units in November 2025, which includes 5,33,645 units in domestic sales and 57,491 units in exports. The company has seen a month-on-month (MoM) decline of 32.5 percent.

Notably, TVS and its Indian contemporaries including Hero MotoCorp achieved similar numbers with the latter achieving total sales of 4,61,071 units in December 2025, while the latter achieved total sales of 4,56,479 units in the last month of 2025. Interestingly, the company's Japanese rival Suzuki achieved total sales of 1,22,366 units in December 2025.
