In April 2025, the company had sold 44,374 units, which means an annual growth (YoY) of 16.96% has been recorded this year. Talking about total sales (domestic + export), the company has sold 65,610 units in April 2026.

This figure is 7.96% more than last year's 60,774 units. However, there was a decline in exports. The company exported 13,708 units in April 2026, which is 16.41% less than 16,400 units in April 2025. There has been a slight decline (5.74%) in domestic sales compared to March 2026, but the strong year-on-year growth indicates continued demand in the Indian market.

Hyundai Venue broke records

The biggest star of the company's success in April was Hyundai Venue. It posted its best ever monthly performance with domestic sales of 12,420 units. Recently, the confidence of buyers has increased after Venue and Venue N Line received 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Apart from the top-5 cars of the two companies mentioned above, last financial year, 1,793 units of Kodiaq, 434 units of Tiguan, 243 units of Golf, 238 units of Tayron, 96 units of Octavia and only 4 units of Superb were sold.

Maruti Ertiga, despite being a bit expensive (starting from ₹ 8.80 lakh), has remained the most favorite family car in this segment for the last many years. In such a situation, the question is why people prefer to buy Maruti Ertiga despite cheaper options being available in the budget? Let us know the 5 main reasons that make Ertiga better.

1. Better power and performance

Maruti Ertiga has a 1.5-litre K15C smart hybrid engine, which gives 102 bhp power and 136.8 Nm torque. Whereas both Renault Triber and Nissan Gravite have 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine, which gives only 71-72 bhp power and about 96-97 Nm torque.

सरकार ने पेट्रोल में इथेनॉल के उच्च मिश्रण को औपचारिक रूप से शामिल करने के लिए केंद्रीय मोटर वाहन नियमों में संशोधन का प्रस्ताव करते हुए आधिकारिक तौर पर एक मसौदा अधिसूचना जारी की है। सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय के अनुसार, मसौदे में E85 ईंधन (पेट्रोल में 85 प्रतिशत इथेनॉल का मिश्रण) और यहां तक ​​कि E100 का प्रावधान शामिल है, जिससे वाहन पूरी तरह से इथेनॉल पर चल सकते हैं।
